Today I wanted to test my new HA5IW SOTA PA for the FT-817ND. At home it was very successful. With 0.5w input it emits 8-9w, with 1.0w input = 15w out. 2.5w in = 25w out.I qualified the Kleeberg (DA\/NI-275) with 4 DL => U.S.A. QSO on 10m, then some fun QSOs on 40m i.e. with Tom DL1DVE . I used the MP-1 antenna. Next weekend (wx depending) I will make another test with a small carbon fishing rod.<\/p>\n\n\n
