We had last Saturday in Germany a short VHF contest from the AGCW-DL<\/a>. The Activity Group CW. I renewed friday evening my favorite rucksack-portable-antenna: a 4x Oblong designed by DK7ZB<\/a> and climbed saturday on my local mountain – reference DM\/NS-108. With the FT-857 I made between 40 and 20w. Yes, I started with 40w and reduced and reduced. 2h later was the battery flat, 45 QSOs in the log, a new ODX to Hungary and a lot nice talks about HAM Radio with local visitors on the mountain.<\/p>\n

There were two S2S (Summit to Summit) contacts: Manfred, DK7ZH\/p on DA\/HE-033 and Gerhard, DL4TO\/p, on DM\/BW-100.<\/p>\n
