Inzwischen ist die Schmittenh\u00f6he aus dem SOTA Programm herausgeflogen, kann aber nat\u00fcrlich f\u00fcr das <a title=\"cqGMA\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cqgma.de\" target=\"_blank\">GMA<\/a> weiter aktiviert werden. Im Rahmen meines Vorhabens, alle Gipfel des Wiehengebirgs-Kamms f\u00fcr das GMA zu aktivieren, nutzte ich den UKW Mai Kontest f\u00fcr einige QSO von <a title=\"GMA Schmittenh\u00f6he\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cqgma.eu\/gmainfo.php?id=DA\/NI-035\" target=\"_blank\">DA\/NI-035<\/a>.Als Antenne kam diesmal eine simple Delta Loop, horizontal polarisiert, zum Einsatz. Einige 2m QSO kamen ins Log und eine Station gab mir einen merkw\u00fcdigen QTH Locator: JO34WE. Mit dem n\u00e4chsten CQ Ruf h\u00f6rte ich des R\u00e4tsels L\u00f6sung &#8230;<\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/gb.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4816\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/gb.gif\" width=\"20\" height=\"13\" \/><\/a>The Schmittenh\u00f6he is part of the Wiehen Uplands and was the second summit I ever activated for SOTA (<a title=\"SOTA\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sotawatch.org\/summits.php?summit=DM\/NS-043\" target=\"_blank\">DM\/NS-043<\/a>). Now it is a GMA summit, because it was deleted by SOTA. Das Tageslicht ist lange genug vorhanden &#8211; leider sollte das Wetter laut Vorhersage nicht mitspielen. Also entschloss ich mich f\u00fcr die Wetterschutzh\u00fctte auf dem D\u00f6renberg.Nach den guten Erfahrungen mit der Delta-Loop zwei Tage vorher wollte ich nun den ultimativen Vergleich durchf\u00fchren. 4x Oblong vs. Delta-Loop.<\/p>\n<p>Mein Fazit: die Delta-Loop ist wegen ihrer einfachen Aufbauweise schneller auf- und abzubauen und wesentlich unempfindlicher gegen\u00fcber mechanischen Einfl\u00fcssen. Die Richtwirkung macht sich doch gegen\u00fcber der 4x Oblong bemerkbar. DIe Oblong braucht man quasi nicht drehen, w\u00e4hrend bei der Delta-Loop doch Vorzugsrichtungen bemerkbar sind. Der Empfang mit der Oblong ist minimal besser. F\u00fcr eine UKW-Portabel-Berg.Aktivit\u00e4t reicht die Delta-Loop v\u00f6llig aus!<\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/gb.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4816\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/gb.gif\" width=\"20\" height=\"13\" \/><\/a>For the WNA \/ NAC in May is a high summit the first choice. I have daylight over the whole activation. But WX-frorecast promised bad weather. So I decided to operate from the DM\/NS-036 shelter and not from the platform of the outlook tower.<\/p>\n<p>However. 70 QSO came into the log. 40 in the first 30 minutes, 30 in the next 90 minutes, condx were bad. I received OZ1ALS only with S1 to S3 instead S9++++.<\/p>\n<p>I compared a simple Delta-Loop with the 4x-Oblong system and noticed only small differences.
