\"dl\"<\/a>Diese Aktivierung war eigentlich spontan geplant. Samstag Abend \u00fcberlegte ich mir im Hostel am Sorpesee im Sauerland, wegen der guten Wetteraussichten, eine Tour f\u00fcr Sonntag. \u00dcber qwj.de<\/a> fand ich in 17km Entfernung den „Balver Wald“. Erst 3x aktiviert? Aha – viel zu Wandern \ud83d\ude09 Aber vom Wanderparkplatz (1<\/span><\/strong>) f\u00fchrt ja ein fast schnurgerader Wanderweg direkt auf den Gipfel. Also die Koordinaten vom Parkplatz und vom Gipfel ins GPS gespeichert, das sollte als Vorbereitung reichen.<\/td>\n\"\"<\/a>This activation was planned spontaneously. Saturday night I thought in the hostel about an activation on sunday because we had a good weather forecast. via qwj.de<\/a> I found in 17km distance „Balver Wald“ DM\/NW-230 with only 3 previous activations. At the parking site (1<\/span><\/strong>) goes an almost perfectly straight trail to the peak. So I saved the coordinates of the parking site and from the top to the GPS, that should be enough to prepare.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

\"dl\"<\/a> Ein Wegweiser am Parkplatz zeigte den Weg zum „Balver Wald“. Also los. Ein geschotterter Waldweg f\u00fchrt vorbei an Fischteichen in den den Wald. Die GPS-Richtung passt, 2,5km Luftlinie bis zur Bergkuppe. Pl\u00f6tzlich ging der Weg in Serpentinen den Berg hoch. Seltsam. Daran konnte ich mich gar nicht erinnern. GPS: 1,7km … Richtung passt. Nach einiger Zeit dann wieder der Kontrollblick zum GPS: Immernoch 1,7 Kilometer, aber nun mehr westlich. Es war zu steil um irgendwo querfeldein zu gehen, also musste ich erstmal wohl oder \u00fcbel auf dem Wanderweg mit der Markierung „G“ bleiben. Nach dem Umrunden eines Berges blies der Wind so stark, dass ich meine Cap gegen eine M\u00fctze eingetauscht habe. Schon bald kam ich zu einem gro\u00dfen Wegekreuz. Entfernung bis zum Gipfel noch immer 1,5 km. Also das Smartphone herausgeholt und nachgesehen, wo ich \u00fcberhaupt bin (2<\/span><\/strong>).<\/td>\n\"\"<\/a> A sign at the parking lot showed the way to the „Balver forest“. So go ahead. A gravel forest road leads past fish ponds in the forest. The GPS direction was okay, 2,5 km to walk up to the mountaintop. Suddenly the way up the mountain was in serpentine. Strange. I could not remember that. GPS: 1.7 km … direction okay. After some time another control view to the GPS: Still 1.7 km, but now more west. It was too steep to go somewhere across country, so I had willy-nilly to stay on the trail marked with „G“. After circling a mountain the wind was so strong that I swapped my cap. Soon I came to a large way junction. Distance to the summit 1.5 km. So I checked with the smartphone where I am at all (2<\/span><\/strong>).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

\"dl\"<\/a> Via WhatsApp habe ich Peter, DK2RMP, angesprochen, er soll mich mal eben lokalisieren und einen Tipp geben, wie ich weiter wandern kann. \u00dcber APRS konnte mich Peter finden und sogleich kamen, wiederum via WhatsApp, einige Landkarten hereingrauscht.<\/td>\n\"\"<\/a> Via WhatsApp I ask Peter, DK2RMP, he should locate me via APRS and give me a hint, which way I should take. Peter found me immediately and I received, again via WhatsApp, some hiking maps.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

\"dl\"<\/a> Am n\u00e4chsten Wegekreuz bei (5<\/span><\/strong>) gab es keinen Hinweis auf den Gipfel des „Balver Wald“. Peter schrieb, der meinen Weg \u00fcber APRS verfolgte: geradeaus weiter, das GPS best\u00e4tigte die Angabe mit noch 450m bis zum Ziel.<\/p>\n

Dieses Wochenende war qrp Wochenende. Der FT-817 war einfach mit einem LiPo best\u00fcckt, Antenne und Morsetaste ‚dran, los geht’s. 18 QSO sind so in das Log gekommen. Wegen des st\u00fcrmischen Windes habe ich das Stativ f\u00fcr die MP-1 mit einem Gummi-Gurt am PickNick-Tisch festgemacht, das hielt bombenfest. (7<\/span><\/strong>)<\/td>\n

\"\"<\/a> At the next junction at (5<\/span><\/strong>) there was no evidence to the summit of „Balver Wald“. Peter wrote, pursued my way via APRS: straight ahead! And the GPS confirmed the statement with even 450m from the summit.<\/p>\n

This weekend was qrp weekend. The FT-817 was simply fitted with a LiPo, antenna und morse key. 18 QSO came into the log. Because of the stormy wind, I’ve made \u200b\u200bthe stand for the MP-1 with a rubber strap on picknick table that held rock solid. (7<\/span><\/strong>)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

\"dl\"<\/a> F\u00fcr den R\u00fcckweg habe ich dann die Sauerl\u00e4nder Waldroute gew\u00e4hlt (gr\u00fcnes W). Der Weg mag vielleicht etwas k\u00fcrzer sein (3km bis zum Wanderparkplatz) ist aber ungemein steil. So war ich doch froh, dass ich Wanderweg „G“ nach oben hatte, auch wenn es weiter war.<\/td>\n\"\"<\/a> For the return path, I then choose the Sauerland Wald Route (green W). The way is perhaps a little shorter (3km to the trail parking lot) but is extremely steep. So I was glad that I used trail „G“ upwards, even if it was longer.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

F\u00fcr diesen Berg und f\u00fcr dieses Wanderung hat BM\/NW-230 4 von 5 Sternen von mir bekommen. Ich kann die Ref nur empfehlen und es ist mal eine Abwechslung zu den Bergen mit einem Kilometer Anmarsch.<\/p>\n
