For this single activation I used the CEPT callsign, more SOTA activations from Poland are not planned.<\/p>\n<p>It was an interesting day. I have never seen such bad road. The journey leaded from DL via OK, SP, OK again, then finally SP. Funnily I did not remark the border between OK and SP. I wondered about the many cars with polish license plates. Finally I reached the road 404. Via google maps I found two alternatives for parking the car. The first location was good. The GPS said, 2.2km to walk with a altitude difference of about 400m to the summit of <a title=\"Kamienica - 973m, 6 points\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sotawatch.org\/summits.php?summit=SP\/SZ-002\" target=\"_blank\">Kamienica (SP\/SZ-002)<\/a> . A small path disappeared in the forest. I followed it. Later was this path a creek bed. And after that, it was nothing. Forest. Clearing. Dark Forest. Boulders. Mire. Wet feet. Boulder fields. I think the speed was about 1km\/h &#8230;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1582\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1582\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/sp201102.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1582\" title=\"sp201102\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/sp201102.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"crossing bolder-fields during the ascent\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/sp201102.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/sp201102-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1582\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">crossing bolder-fields during the ascent<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Only 300m to the summit a single track road passed my way. I think this road started at my decided startpoint #2. But the road is closed for public traffic.<\/p>\n<p>When I found a lot of waste (empty bottles, beer cans) on my way I was sure, that I was near the summit.<\/p>\n<p>I recommend for this way a GPS (to find the summit AND to find the way back) and walking sticks.<\/p>\n<p>With the MP-1 antenna and my qrp FT-817 it was no problem to make th four necessary QSO on 40m. 30m was good, too. On 20m answered not many stations. As always.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for the QSOs and the spots.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/dl.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1018\" title=\"dl\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/dl.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"11\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 Nach vier Monaten hat es das polnische <a title=\"UKE\" href=\"http:\/\/www.en.uke.gov.pl\/ukeen\/index.jsp?place=Lead02&amp;news_cat_id=22&amp;news_id=560&amp;layout=1&amp;page=text\" target=\"_blank\">Office of Electronic Communications<\/a> (UKE) nicht geschafft, mir eine polnische Gastlizenz auszustellen (obwol die 21 EUR Geb\u00fchr bezahlt und best\u00e4tigt waren). Ich habe darauf beschlossen, nur eine SOTA-Aktivit\u00e4t in Polen durchzuf\u00fchren.<\/p>\n<p>Es war ein interessanter Tag. Nie zuvor habe ich so schlechte Stra\u00dfen gesehen (wobei Stra\u00dfe schon ein gro\u00dfer Begriff f\u00fcr eine Aneinanderreihung von Schlagl\u00f6chern ist).\u00a0 Auch nicht bei meinen vorherigen Besuchen in Polen. Die Strecke aus dem Zittauer Gebirge f\u00fchrte \u00fcber Tschechien, Polen, wieder Tschechien und letztendlich wieder Polen. Im 2m Funkger\u00e4t hatte ich den Repeater SR6B | JO70LX eingestellt. Es war aber keine einzige Station zu h\u00f6ren. Den Grenz\u00fcbertritt von Tschechien nach Polen hatte ich gar nicht bemerkt. Mich wunderten nur die vielen Autos mit polnischen Kennzeichen \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1583\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1583\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/sp201103.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1583\" title=\"sp201103\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/sp201103.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"View from Kamienica\" width=\"300\" height=\"126\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/sp201103.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/sp201103-300x126.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1583\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">View from Kamienica<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Letztendlich erreichte ich auf der Stra\u00dfe 404 den ersten der beiden von mir ausgesuchten Parkgelegenheiten. Die erste Parkgelegenheit war okay, das GPS zeigte 2,2 Kilometer und ca. 400m H\u00f6henunterschied bis zum <a title=\"Kamienica - 973m, 6 points\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sotawatch.org\/summits.php?summit=SP\/SZ-002\" target=\"_blank\">Gipfel<\/a> an. In die passende Richtung verschwand im Wald ein Pfad. Diesem Pfad folgte ich, der dann bald in ein Bachbett \u00fcberging und das Bachbett l\u00f6ste sich im tiefen Wald auf. Dann wechselten sich Lichtungen und Dickichte ab. Mal Morast, mal fester Boden. \u00dcberall lagen Felsen herum. Die F\u00fc\u00dfe wurden na\u00df. Von &#8222;Wandern&#8220; konnte gar keine Rede sein. Die Geschwindigkeit lag bei etwa 1 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>Etwa 300m vor dem Gipfel \u00fcberquerte ich eine befestigte Stra\u00dfe. Diese Stra\u00dfe war sicher f\u00fcr den \u00f6ffentlichen Verkehr gesperrt und f\u00fchrte<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1601\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1601\" style=\"width: 96px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/sp201105.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-1601\" title=\"sp201105\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/sp201105.jpg?w=96\" alt=\"Summit-Location\" width=\"96\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/sp201105.jpg 323w, https:\/\/www.adventureradio.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/sp201105-193x300.jpg 193w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 96px) 100vw, 96px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1601\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Summit-Location<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>wohl von meiner alternativen Parkgelegenheit hier entlang. Aber weiter ging es querfeldein &#8230; dass ich die N\u00e4he des Gipfels erreichte zeigte auch die Zunahme an herumliegenden M\u00fcll. Flaschen und Bierdosen mitten in der Wildnis. Oben auf dem Gipfel habe ich dann die Station aufgebaut und schnell f\u00fcllte sich das Logbuch auf 40m und 30m. Auf 20m gelangen nur ein paar QSOs.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr eine Aktivierung des <a title=\"Kamienica - 973m, 6 points\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sotawatch.org\/summits.php?summit=SP\/SZ-002\" target=\"_blank\">Kamienica (SP\/SZ-002)<\/a> empfehle ich unbedingt ein GPS, um den Gipfel zu finden und hinterher den Parkplatz! In weiten Teilen des Gebietes gibt es keinen Handy-Empfang.
