celebrate Carneval one week earlier than in the rest of the country. On top of the signal mountain is a radio tower and lot of antennas from the Bundeswehr (German Army), but they cause no interferences on 40m. Far from it! In spite of a contest the band was very quite with string signals. Later on the Stemweder Berg (DM\/NW-256) I operated on 10 MHz only. Again a very quite band with a lot of stations. It was a good run with my 5w output and the MP-1 antenna.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> Auch wenn die Schneegl\u00f6ckchen schon den Fr\u00fchling ank\u00fcndigen, heute war es alles andere als fr\u00fchlingshaft. Der angek\u00fcndigte Regen hielt sich jedoch in Grenzen. Auf dem Weg zum Signalberg musste ich durch Damme<\/a> fahren. Aus historischen Gr\u00fcnden findet der der Carneval schon eine Woche eher statt als im Rest der Republik. Leider war die Umleitungsstrecke Richtung Steinfeld f\u00fcr meinen Geschmack etwas d\u00fcrftig ausgeschildert und ich verlor einige Zeit.<\/p>\n

Auf dem Signalberg<\/a> steht ein Sendemast der Bundeswehr mit vielen vielen Antennen. Es gab aber keine St\u00f6rungen im 40m Band. Im Gegenteil, das Band war so rauscharm, dass ich erst dachte, die Antenne w\u00e4re nicht richtig angeschlossen. Nach ein paar CQ meldeten sich auch on die ersten Stationen, trotz, dass wieder irgendein Contest lief. Nach etwa 30 Minuten endete der Run auf 40m und ich packte alles wieder zusammen f\u00fcr den Weg zur Kollwessh\u00f6h<\/a> im Stemweder Berg. Durch Damme selbst musste ich nicht mehr durch. S\u00fcdlich des D\u00fcmmers ging es auf Stemwede zu. Auf den weiten endlos erscheinenden Wiesen waren viele Wildg\u00e4nse und Reiher zogen ihre Runden.<\/p>\n

Der Anstieg auf die Kollwessh\u00f6h ist kurz aber heftig. Oben stellte ich die Station auf 10.118 MHz ein. Nach einigen CQ meldete sich YL2CV. Dann kam erstmal wieder nichts. Nach z\u00e4hem Rufen waren schliesslich 4 Stationen im Log. Danach ging es Schlag auf Schlag und nach einer halben Stunde waren 35 Stationen im Log.<\/p>\n
